About trauma recovery,

preventable suffering and the knowledge-to-action gap

Many organisations, schools, colleges, public services and decision makers worldwide are not briefed on the neuroscientific and psychological research on how people recover from trauma. As a result, millions of people try to deal with their psychological pain by defences and symptom control. Our aim is to change this situation by offering training that interrupts the trajectory from adverse life experiences to long term mental and physical health problems, premature death and societal ills. This will lead to far less suffering for self and society with preventable exorbitant public spending costs.
